As per title I had all the gaskets replaced on the engine and twice now the engine has stalled once while driving along lost all power for about 30 seconds and then ok and this Saturday just stopped on a roundabout couldn’t start it and then 5 mins later started ok plugged in vcds and this code came up my question is, is there a likely place to start looking first
That really does sound MAF related...what's the condition of your existing unit? I have a good spare your welcome to pop over and borrow for a week or so to see if that sorts out the problem.
I have a boost leak test kit that was my next thing to check. Just doesn’t feel like a boost leak the car goes quite with out any issue hence the reason I didn’t think of it.
Mixture code = air fuel ratio is outside the control range.
So you have either an intake leak, or a fuel delivery problem, or a problem measuring air mass or lambda.
Boost leak is the common cause, also a bad MAF or degraded MAF connector terminals or wiring.
An often overlooked cause is the fuel pressure regulator.
Boost leak test is always first course of action, following that in your case I would look at FPR next, since you are having starting trouble, I would guess it is weak and your fuel pressure is low.

This forum never ceases to amaze me - it's the perfect guide on how to do eye surgery through one's rectum...
Or in other words checking the most likely cause last.
