Walbro 450 Installation - the only fuel pump you need
Finished off the wiring using some TE Faston Positive Lock connectors 341002, these fit in the T pluh off the original pump and are the same as came from the factory. £3-4 for 10 off ebay.
Final part of the puzzle will be a wiring harness off Alex.

I've checked the pump I bought ages ago and it's a 255. I'm looking at the 450 but it am just wondering if it would be overkill on my 270hp chipped car..?
Just checking before I placed an order..
Here’s the Walbro 450 pump in the RS4 basket. There’s about a 10mm gap all round.
My plan is to use a length of ethanol grade fuel hose to make an O ring which will fit snug round the top of the pump and be held in by the normal top clip. I did the same mod to the bottom of the basket as Rusty to allow the pump to drop right in, except I left the original filter mesh in place.
