checked it no problem there , the oil pump is refurbished and checked from the former owner , checked it with him. Hehas started the car before me ,, but it has passed a while.

I drained the oil , oil filter and oil cooler ,, and it smells a lot of ethanol ,perhapse thats why the pump will not pump , and you can see the etanol in the oil. But when i fill it up with new oil now , im just starting engine to get temperature and then putting the correct in it. But now to just start , what viskosity should i use ? And is there maybe a issue with oil pump that its primed with bad oil , so when i put in my start up oil it will not start any way ? Whats your opinion guys ?

How much oil does the engine take with the oilfilter ?

When you're cranking the engine trying to get oil pressure, take all the spark plugs out and remove the ECU fuses, this will disable the injectors and ignition and stop it diluting the oil with fuel.

still no pressure ,, so the only thing to try to get the oil pressure is to start it for 10 sek ,, put some red line assembly on the camshafts

If you are planning to start it for 10 seconds, turn it over on the starter for 10 seconds instead. There is a lot less load on the bearings using the starter compared to running normally.

It can take 10 seconds for the pump to suck...

Hopefully the engine was built with bearing lube throughout? It's sticky enough to stay put for a while until oil appears

Is there no pressure on the gauge or no flow from anything you can visually see?

Haha, that's a good point! if the gauge isn't connected it won't ever show pressure

I reckon looking in on the camshafts would show oil flowing to the head and if its at the head it would be in the bearings by then.

Have you got an oil pressure test gauge? I wouldn't keep on trying otherwise you will cause internal damage if the oil pump isn't working or something internal is blocked. Check once more using a proper pressure test gauge. If nothing, you need to strip the engine to see what the problem is.

Oil gear drive cog on the crank? I've heard of these slipping, but can't imagine it's slipping enough to generate no oil pressure. Was it removed during the rebuild and hasn't been replaced?
