So a loval guy had 3 wg's available with several springs. You do not have permission to view this gallery.
This gallery has 2 photos.Comment

He had several springs in different sizes, not sure if this is the correct one. I think this is the original ABY one if Im correct (probably not).
Changed the upper part and installed the spring in new top-housing.
Will check later on if it solves the problem. I think I need to change the whole wastegate later but for now Ill just do the easy fix first
and see if that kinda sorts out the boost creep problems..Comment

The 034 1.9 bar spring looks like this… and is heavier gauge.

I think you’ve got the right (standard) spring there.85 WR Urquattro, 85 20vT International liveried RallyRep

Did you check the WG valve is moving ok in its guide? Not too much play?Comment

Not supposed to have no play like a valve in an engine, need a little bit of wobble as it gets red hot!
If you can push it sideways and it still closes it will work.
(If you have a lot of play the exhaust pressure can come up the guide and open the valve, then your boost will not hold.)
It’ll be interesting to see what boost it runs on your chipset!
If possible disconnect the N75 and check you’re getting 0.4 Bar on the spring alone.Comment

Thanks for the help man, I appreciate it
Yeah, the movement play doesnt seem too bad. It looks like it closes by the feel of it. The other used "new" one is tighter so should re-fit it anyway when I have the time. Will get the 034motorsport custom thingy when its out anyway.
The N75 is the next in line but I couldnt reach it without moving either the aux radiator / headlights seems like.
Tried see if I could manage my hand by the silicone hose to the turbo intake but it was too tight.
When I decide to try it I will change its location to a bit more practical plase, or at least try and get it visible so its easy to pull the connector sleeve off.

I run my N75s with a piece of pipe to extend the connection at the MAF hose, so the valve sits up the top where you can see it.
I use a short piece of old fuel hardline (metal or plastic) into the MAF hose then extend with silicone.
You might need a longer pipe from the cold side to the valve.

Not a bad idea. Might do something similar
