Definitely be interested, but to be honest my preferred solution is to bring the car to you and have install the kit, things never quite work out when try and work on cars so I pay somebody to do it for me.

Let me know when you have a neat looking solution and I will drive up and have you fit it.

    cheers

Despite it looking a bit of a lash up, this has cured the stalling issue for this car. We have moved the MAF to the pressure side and all is good.
All we have to do now is contruct it so it looks factory and last a long time.
But we have a cure, if other's are having the same issue we can look at doing a simple MAF relocation kit for people?

There's been a couple of references to voltage, James' battery light coming on, Ross replaced his battery, any connection here I wonder?

Yup, it's one of the things we check when doing the PCV's

Is the one way valve in the PCV system working ok? the little one down below the ISV?

Mihnea tried loads of stuff with the map but nothing would help, effect was always the same.

How would the backpressure affect this? It's one thing I did think off, as it was noted that the garrett hotside had minimal backpressure. When adding the turbo it was still running 1.5bar on the old map and the problem was still there. I think moving the MAF pressure side would have been the next step.

The only other change was that the breather system was venting to atmosphere - I did plumb that back in, at the same time as replacing the battery & cleaning the ignition, and the issue didn't occur again - but then it only covered about 10 miles before the incident
    hmmm

    stock PCV/flametrap (all new)
    new battery

I don't think it's back pressure as this is on a k24 remember running less boost.

Ignition??? We tested the system and all the leads where fine but I didn't check what was happening with them above the rpm range we where having the issue with.
Are all the cars concerned that are having this issue 3B's?
Anyone with an ABY having this phenomenon?

I was thinking (over my raspberry and chocolate cheesecake) that the 7A cam could (due to the slight overlap) be causing an issue but then surely that would cause a similar issue in an RS2 running more boost and a larger exhaust and lighter flywheel.
Again the larger exhaust may be an issue due to the lack of back pressure but I have used this same system on other S2's with no ill effects.
I have done simliar spec S2's as this one and never had this issue. It is the first time I have seen this stall issue.
Or it could just be related to the fact that the flux capacitor isn't being fully charged and is causing the trouble with tribbles?
you need up up the giga joules but only so that balances the mega watt distribution
    resistor

Hmmm not sure, my car had a 3" system on it but only stock D/P. Not sure that would cause the problem, the turbo will try stall with the DV blocked off, but no reason for that to effect it with it connected as the pressure will help keep the turbo spinning on lift off along with a bit more gasses from the 7A cam.

I'm not helping here am i If only i had the car here Keep the idea's coming tho. I'm gonna break out the soon

    Cheers
