In the last x years (I know!), there has been a constant but minor issue of the expansion tank cap ‘leaking by’ when idling in traffic for long periods of time.
The cap on the ABY S2 is mid-blue. So, today I swapped it with the AAN cap from the rally car (which is light grey) and it (all be it an inconclusive test) seems fine.
Is there a pressure rating based on expansion tank cap colour? And, obvious question, because I know the answer, but I’ve got to ask, do the caps fail?
