  • Turbochargers for 500hp

    So as I read the earlier post where discussed everything from Holsets to EFR's,

    By todays standard, what is the best 500hp+ turbo? ( on pump fuel )

          Mine k26/27 have modern design wheels and new better design ex housing .
          and nice bolt on original look .

                  Vidars Turbos are awesome bits of kit from the photo's I've seen...

                  It's surprising what can be crammed into old K26/7 housings, the Holsets are great but are not plug and play like a K26/7.. That share's the same center section layout as stock, so oil and water lines are a straight fit, as is the down-pipe, you may have to get a little inventive with the MAF boot depending on what compressor housing you use but that's really a very mnor issue.

                  I opened out a stock 3B MAF boot with an exhaust flaring tool and a heat gun to make it fit on larger intake's, I still have it knocking about if you end up needing one.
