034motorsport chip and turbo packages for 420-430HP

Hi guys, does anyone have experience with 034motorsport chip tuning and turbo packages for 2.2l 20Vt engines?

My goal is around 420-430HP so I was thinking about this GT2871R package on the pictures below.

What do you think, any opinion and advice is welcome?

034 have been offering these kits for over 10 years now, I would like to think there are more modern components available that could do a better job for the same money.

Anyone else know of alternatives?

Many years ago, when the exchange rate was much more favourable, I bought a GT3071 turbo kit and downpipe from 034 for my S2. I didn't buy the chipset as my car was running the original 3B setup and dizzy at the time.
Despite being assured this kit was for the small chassis car it was actually really for the AAN. Hence the MAF hose was too short to reach the airbox and the downpipe didn't fit and needed modifying. One of the flanges on the oil pipes leaked and had to be replaced. The clip on the water pipe was Chinese rubbish and broke when tightened. The end fitting on the oil feed to the turbo, being unplaced mild steel, rusted away very quickly and had to be replaced, the hex was gone so it was very difficult to remove.
The turbo cold side actually came loose while Mihnea was tuning to car.

Having said all that, the Garret GT30 is still going strong after a few retunes, converting the car to ABY spec then Maxxecu, about 100k miles at around 450hp, I have no regrets on buying that turbo.

I wouldn't buy anything 034, everything I've seen in person has not been finished properly, cast manifolds with bits inside that could break off, bushes and other bits that need work to fit. The customer service is awful and the owner is an *** to put it politely.

Certainly look elsewhere and save your money.

If its supplied by 034, chances are it will not fit.

Don't expect good customer service from them either...
