    Urq 20v rr maf

I have 1990 model (never sure if it is ABY or AAN engine) and have now done tests on original MAF v Chinese one I bought that made no difference to stuttering under load

Using the Test sheet from this forum, Ohms are correct but zero volts across Pins 3 and 5 which looking at the schematic wiring feed the hot wire circuitry

The chinese MAF shows correct 2.5 to 3 volts reading across pins 3 and 5 but engine still wont pull

It idles smooth on all cylinders but running rich from exhaust

Many ppl have said it needs to be original OEM to work (also a mates garage guy on his Discovery which fixed the same problem immediately) BUT I cant find an OEM unit anywhere

Does anyone know anyone who can test and maybe replace the hot wire in the MAF etc

I printed out all the hard copies from the G70 Datasheet pages on S2 Central but it all seems to have disappeared now

    Hi Predding

I should have a good spare MAF at home, I can send it to you to try, send me a PM.
I will be back home on Tuesday.

A 1990 RR engine would normally be like a 3B with single coil and distributor, ABY, ADU and AAN have the 5 coils on plugs and later Motronic ECU to suit. The same MAF will work for all.
