its not inflation, its enormous tax hikes that labour have brought in to fund their f*ck up schemes and dead-end initiatives.

2p of the recent price rises were due to tax hikes announced by Gordon Brown in a budget from about 18 months ago - labour do this often now - they announce something nasty at a budget, but say that they won't implement it for, say, 12-18months, by which time we've all forgotten.

The current very high price of crude is also mostly due to the fact that the Dollar is currently so worthless relative to the Euro and the Yen (or heck, even the Canadian Dollar!) - what's happening is that investors (aka professional gamblers who work for banks) are dumping Dollars and Cashing in on Crude. Supply is good and is matching demand - most countries have good reserves, and it's not like we're about to invade yet another oil-producing country any time soon, but basically you can blame the weakness of the Dollar both at George Bush, but also the American Banks for their "sub-prime mortgage" lending...

I have to fill up this weekend, wondering what damage Tesco99 will be!

And you might like to know that Brazil has just discovered a new oil field which will make it a larger oil producer than Saudi Arabia - I would imagine that'll knock all the nonesense about Brazilian biofuel on the head?!

Are you suggesting we/someone shoots 'The Bush', maybe shouldn't have said that with GCHQ just up the road and listening to everything we say or think...

                  Any volunteers?

                    LOL.

Prob worth having a read here http://www.transaction-2007.com/

They are holding a no fuel day on monday.

                    STOP PRESS !!

NO FUEL DAY - Monday 19TH November 2007

                    DON'T PAY TAX - DON'T BUY FUEL

Monday November 19th has been formally declared "NO FUEL DAY" and the people of this nation should not buy a single drop of fuel that day. This really does work. Because of the HUGE revenues generated by fuel, the tax is paid DAILY. Just one day of action will seriously hit Government cash flow! You can make a difference. If the government don't get the message after one day, we will do it again... and again! Without taking action the price per litre will continue to rise.

Remember, not only is the price of fuel going up but at the same time airlines are forced to raise their prices, road haulage companies are forced to raise their prices which effects prices on everything that is shipped. Things like food, clothing, building materials, medical supplies etc. Who pays in the end? WE DO.

You can do something! If you send this message to just 10 people, and they forward it to 10 people… and so on, by the time it has reached the 6th generation, then this message will have been seen by 20 MILLION people! So, send it to everyone you know...

Make The Commitment, on Monday 19th November: DON'T BUY FUEL - DON'T PAY TAX
