How the hell do I open the ECU?

Well,

I need to check if my ECU has a 2.5 or 3.0 bar mapsensor.

So how the hell do I get the two PCB boards from each other?

Because I dont want to brake something.

Please any help or BTDT or pictures would be very helpfull.

hi mate its a bit tricky aint it! I got 2 small presision screwdrivers and put them either side if the pins then if you push the top row of pins down it unclips apart......just like that!

Is were the red arrows is that I need to pray with the srewdrivers?

you put 2 small screw drivers at the side of the pins in the plastic housing then squeeze gently apart. then you very gently push the top pins down and you will hear them click apart

i know mate its a biatch! took me a while to do. try pressing down then gently pushing back.

ooops yes, i just remembered ! Push the pins at the other end thru and pull out the inners( i used the same screwdriver to poke them thru). I remember the 3 that hold both boards together click apart

yeah got it open, but sadly it is only a 2.5 bar mapsensor, had hoped that Hohenester had put in a 3 bar mapsensor. But thanks for the help
