Rotor arm advice needed

OK, so I have been sent a new rotor arm, to replace the narrow tipped one on my 3B...
The old tip appears to be around 10mm wide, but the one I have been sent is around 18mm
I know the 7A one is even wider, I understand this one might be from a Polo or something.
The 18mm arm has part number 052 905 225 C
Should I use this wide one? Should I cut a couple of mm off each side of the tip, to make it smaller?
Where should I get a narrow one? (bearing in mind this wider one came from Vagparts)
Anyone have a number for a 10mm tip rotor arm?

Toyota P/N 19102-02020 for the 'correct' narrow tipped rotor. Or you can file/cut the wide one to suit.

Hmmmm, not sure where I could find somewhere to buy a Toyota one from.... I reckon that would be the best idea though...
I will have a go at trimming the wider one down tomorrow, and see what it looks like once its done....!
Anybody got any reasons why this would not be a good idea?

052 905 414c Audi part number for rotor 11mm wide. I have took mine from Augsburg int.

Thanks, I will keep hold of the number for future, I ended up getting a wider one and trimming it down to size.....
