I just wanted to updtae this thread, as quite often these things are left unconclusive.
I took the car to Autopool in the end and it turned out to be the POS. Happy days. Car runs beuatifully now but unfortunately I have to sell.
If anyone's interested in an Audi Avant ABY in Emerald green pearl, completely standard, fantastic condition with grey leather and just 67k on the clock please feel free to contact me. I'm going to give it a polish up at the weekend, so I'll post some pics on a seperate thread. Its going to be a sad day when it goes :-(
