    Help/Advise Please, running fault.

I have a running fault on my urS6.

All appears to be fine until i floor it normally in a high gear with revs above say 4500rpm the car starts to hesitate, i back of the gas slightly it runs fine again.

The car has been chipped by MRC I'm lead to believe, has a 3bar map sensor and a replacement coil pack from 034. its just been serviced by Pete Barry at white cottage quattros and he said that there is no boost leaks and he believes the problem may be the mapping may need adjusting?
I also run the car on 95 ROn, should i or 98 RON.

Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

    Thanks

You should be running 98 ron. fill her up with shell v-power and you should notice a difference.

BTW the MRC mapp is advertised to have been done with 98 Ron, and thats what the previous owner was probably running when he got the remap done.

Mapped for 98 ron, use 95 and it may be the knock sensors detecting knock and retarding the ignition under heavy load and boost!
