EGT Probe's

Been having no end of problems with EGT probes.

Ive had one mounted pre turbine and its been causing me alot of hassle. The new one ive just installed doesnt want to work either but had the gauge and sender bench tested and its fine.

So im giving in and im gonna fit one post turbine instead.

Its going to be mounted near enough in the position wherethe nut is on the turbo flange on the standard downpipe.

I need a K type thermocouple with an un grounded tip.

Any suggestions? and prices?

I want to get one of these sorted out. What's the best type to get?

Same as mine (did you see it yet, John?), color is either red, blue, amber or green, price is 140 Euros including thermocouple (plus the display is calibrated to that particular thermocouple) and shipping to me and to either of you.

Yes, I think I saw it, is it that plastic box about 15 cm x 10 cm with the large LC display that sits on the dash while you're mapping?

If ts that gauge then im unsure if it will fit in the dashboard!!! I may have to remove all the centre vents to get that in place! LOL.

wow this is a big EGT !

I'm using Grreedy EGT probe, the sensor im in fornt of the turbo. It's runing with our any problems.
