    Get rid of distributor?

Just wondering if there would be much point in changing to coil packs rather than the distributor on my 3b? I'm planning 400-450bhp. If so how hard is it to do and at what cost for the parts, does a kit exsist? (not sure if thats spelt right it looks wrong )

Alternatively buy a VEMs and you get coil on spark and you can have it tuned a lot more easily.
It plugs straight in and has an extra harness for the coils.

That's not bad, was expecting a lot more money than that.
I know that with the coil packs you can map the ignition system, but in the real world isit worth it at 450bhp?
