    Ok
There is no other vac pipe that you can use so it has to definately be repaired.
The hose tail is an press in tapered type so can't be unscrewed, nor can it be extracted as the fit becomes tighter when something is screwed into it!
The only way to do it is take the IM off and carefully dril out and replace with same tail or a screw in type if the tapered seat in knackered!
I've now fitted my bailey now which has eased the turbo stall for now.

      Hi all,
You lot got me a bit worried now....
What are you supposed to hear when you lift your foot on boost?
I thought a not too loud bit of chatter was normal...

Blank off the DV if you want proper chatter. Sounds mental But will reduce turbo lifespan

Nothing really on a standard setup.
Will only get a noise with a performance filter etc.
You probably need a new Diverter Valve (DV, also known as Recirculator valve).

Forge, Bailey and ARP R1 are your best bet for replacement.

Yep, I'd say the first car has turbo stall, will eventually rip the veins from the impeller shaft.
