Water hose on the back of the engine block, part no.?

Seems that the big water hose, that connects to the back of the engine block seems to be leaking. Anybody that can help with a part no. or can tell me where to look in etka? Can seem to find that damn hose.

    Cheers

One of the two water matrix hoses you mean ?

I have those BOTH spare in Samco blue if you like... Rest of the water kit to match that is on order if you like.

Yups that is the one, the plastic nipple is leaking to or maybe it actually is the nipple that is leaking. I have been looking through etka for that damn nipple but I cant find it

Its held in with one M6 bolt and the plastic perrishes/goes brittle and as mine did crack off. Every water component on the car with exception of the heater matrix has failed in the last 2 years. My expansion bottle isnt far from letting go as it has a few hair line cracks. But it only costs $40 (16 quid)over here for some unknown reason.

Maybe Graham can pick out the part from the FA diagrams?
There is a few differences of the hoses to the heater matrix, air-con cars, non air-con and changes at certain chassis numbers.

If its the plastic nipple that Grahams talking about the part no is 034121143E I think it comes with an o ring. The earlier cars had a metel one, much better if you can get one.

Paul do you have the hose that connects to no 33 on the picture? If yes how much is it? And do you have it in black?

                      Cheers

7A's have the metal version but they corrode like crazy. Best stick with the plastic version IMO.

OHhhhhhhhhhhh - *THAT* nipple - yey that stock plastic bleed nipple is orrible - I broke my original by looking at it. On the Samco kit I got them to integrate a metal bleed screw with O-ring on that matrix hose. I only have a Blue one going spare... Aren't your Boost hoses Blue already Jonas ?

PS - One of the Samco matrix hoses needs modified by having a section cut out of it on cars equipped with the digital climate control system (thats nobody in the UK).

                              Hi Paul,

Iam pretty sure it is not the bleed nipple we are talking about The bleed nipple is located just where the hose comes in/out from the heater matrix inside the car.

This plastic nipple is located on the engine block.
