I had a bailey recirc on a 1.8t and it got loads of compressor stall.
I then changed to a forge atmospheric and this improved things loads, much crispier between changes.
I dont rate bailey recirc`s at all.
If you mant a DV to do a job properly get a tail atmospheric

I'm gonna sound dead boring here, but what's wrong with a new OEM one?
They're cheap as chips in comparison to a shiny forge one and just replace when
worn out! You can afford 4:1 OEM:Forge if you buy from the right place...
The original OEM one on my car lasted 13 years...RS2+ (now sold...)Comment

There's not much wrong with an OEM Bosch DV. I've never bothered with anything else on my S2. Just make sure it's a 710N or a 710P.

$300 for a DV
id want S1 sound for that sort of money.
Standard for me too. The only thing i have found with them is that they dont like heat and tend to start chattering.
But at around £15 you cant go wrong.91 S2 coupé - RIP

I run a Bailey recirc and its been great now for years, tested a few times, no leaks ever, makes a nice whooshing / sighing noise through the RS2 airbox and BMC filter. I was thinking about fitting a dump valve to the ur but it has K Jetronic (mechanicl injection) and I'm not sure which one to buy.Comment
