We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I am in the midst of fitting a 3B to replace my present 7A and have just about sorted out the wiring loom apart from a couple of items (see pics), please let me know where the dingos they are supposed to go! All help appreciated.
Some help on how to add more than one picture to a thread would also help?!
Can e-mail all relavent pics to those who are able to assist.
I tend to upload all my pics to photobucket.com and then link them in with [img] tags. You just put in [img] then type the link (e.g. http://www.something.com/image1.jpg) and then a [/img] to close. On photobucket you can just click the link under the picture and it will automatically copy it so you just have to CTRL-V to paste it into your thread.
I can't make out much in that photo. do you have pics of the mysterious items and anything else they connect near to?

The plug in the previous pic goes to pins 54,38,39,2,12 and 10 on the ECU plug, 12 and 10 are supply wires from the ECU.
Some other cables that have not been identified and that may not be needed for my conversion are in the next Pic below.
Once these are identified I will send the last but not least pic of the un-identified plugs. Due to the firewall and security bits here at work there is a lot of stuff I cannot access, so will have to do it this way. sorry!
Despite being the wrong colour of plug (for ABY at least where they are yellow) - it looks like the one used for the ambient temp display module on rear of instrument cluster. What are the wire colours - can't really see on that image ?
Last but not least, Cannot figure out where these went before removing from the donor S2. DOH! (2 cables at the top on the same section of loom as the turbo coolant pump and pressure switches.
