    Don't panic Bo.
Just enlarge the holes. Have fun as the steel is hardened.

All aftermarket valve guides have this its a pain if you dont spot it.

The washers need to sit underneath the shoulder.

The steel may be hardened but a dermel with a diamond grind stone does the job

The head is basically rebuilt now.

All the valve gear is back in, as well as the cams and cam caps torqued to 11ft lb.

Some of the tappets were not as squishy as the rest of them once they were inserted. Is this normal?
Also i cant turn it over by hand via the cam wheel on the exhaust cam, it doesn't budge at all. Again is this normal or should it be movable?

I used plenty of Red line lobe though and everything was squeaky clean to begin with...

            Good stuff the redline lube
The less squishy tappets may be pumped up.
It's normal not to be able to turn the cam by hand(i'd be worried if you could, or maybe you are built like a brick shithouse )
as long as you can turn it over smoothly with a spanner it will be ok- check for any tight spots(remember as you turn it over you will be pumping any fluid out of the lifters)If there are any obviously tight spots investigate as you may have sticking/fouling( double check the cam alignment)
As long as you are happy with everything then she's ready to be mated (oo-er) with the block
            Good Luck

                Well done Bo.
I would've thought your not strong enough to operate the valves by hand. It gives you an idea of how much stress the camshaft goes through.
Prime those lifters or get ready for the 'clack-clack-clack-...' on start-up.
