Hello!
I have dismantle the head today and the valves are looking good!
Somebody from you can tell me how much is the normal play in the valves and where to measure?
The intakes are verry good, the exhaust are more big.....
Thank You!
All the best!
Eugen
I have measured like you said and is
Exhaust 0.7mm
intake 0.2mm
What do you think?
Should i change the exhaust guides, or live them like this?
Dont know the new ones how are they.
Thank you verry much!
As you have stripped the head already, you will need new seals, add new guides which should be reemed to the proper internal diameter, then a gentle lapping of the old valves to ensure a full seating.
You say your being careful on the cost of repairing your block, so this is the minimum to do and cheapest. Otherwise a full re-furb is going to be mucho grande money.
