Car just died

Please someone help me!

Coming home tuesday night pulled up @ some traffic lights then went to pull away & she wouldn't rev , then finally she picked up & went ok. Then i stopped @ a roundabout & the same thing happened again got round the roundabout & the revs just died to idile & when i put my foot down on the accel it wouldn't responed. I've had a friend run vcom but nothing has come up. Please can someone help me

Have you checked the throttle cable is seated correctly in the engine bay?

Bad earth maybe - certainly smells like an important loose connection - check the earth straps on the inlet manifold and rear or head (if its ABY)

Could also be dicky fuel pump relay.

What about the plugs/connectors on the bulkhead - all clean, dry and tight ?

the throttle cable is fine & the spark plugs & connectors are too. will have a look @ the earths & pump relay.

Just to let everyone know that it was fuel related. I had a leak on the way home & it had run out. So thanks everyone for your help

I was going to say, sounds like you ran out of petrol, then I thought thats just mean, the guy's asking for help here and you just want to take the p*ss

Where was the leak then?
