Or ISV, Clean with WD40, carb cleaner can dry them out and they stick again, BTDT.

Drive the car normally is fine, after i boot it in pretty much any gear and then let the engine revs drop to idle (i.e roll upto a set of lights) the engine cuts out, but will start again.

Is this something to do with the ISV?

Well known problem, I know it all too well. Seems unsolvable

ah yes i remember you saying that have you seen any difference with it gone? or is it to small a thing to notice

Car seems fine, no noticeable difference but it hasn't done any harm and is a small restriction in the inlet removed.

sounds like another thing to do when the wagner im goes on. how did you blank the holes that where left bolts or welded over the holes?
