    .

Monitors engine bay temps when you switch the ignition off...then sets your fan running.

cheers. what side should it be on? the exhaust side? or the other..?

could this sensor be dead? because when i switch off my engine the fan never comes on, unlike my old GT.

        another one for ya

        what are all these?

        1) whats this one at the back of the engine?

        2) & Are these both water temp?

        3) And why are there two of them?

        4) is this the oil pressure? can i connect a BAR pressure gauge to this?

        5) can't see this one in the pic (its just out of sight) , but its not connected on my engine. and there is a wire hanging down close to it but its the wrong type of connection.

          From the Bentley...

for the KV, the engine bay temp gauge is the same side as the plugs. Yep could be the fault. Measure the resistance at 20, then heat it up with a hairdryer and check the reading has changed, could still be wiring though.

          1. coolant temp gauge back to the aux gauges,

          2. yep, one for fuel injection, one for ignition,

          3. see above,

          4. yep, 0.3 bar sensor, and 1.2 bar next hole below,

          5. oil pressure sensor, to aux gauges...

I think it is for ECU or something else this engine has instead. My old KV had pneumo switch in this place.

I disagree . It's oil TEMPERATURE sensor to aux gauges.

The one on the little bracket is the thermo time switch for the CIS I think, pic is a bit blurry, if so it switches vacuum to the FPR (warm up valve) during warm up. One side goes to the vac tree and the other to the FPR. At least thats what it looks like, on the ur this is situated near the FPR close to spark plug 4.
