Can anyone tell me the kind of place i might be able to buy shim washers?
My car is immobile at the moment waiting for a replacement ignition lead, but thats another story
I thought i'd use the opportunity to replace the dizzy gear that was starting to rattle, and give the car a service. Found the plastic gear was perfect but there was end to end play in the shaft causing the rattle -
I've removed the plastic gear but now need to use some shim washers to get the right spacing with the metal gear - i've been to loads of places selling fasteners etc today and not had any luck finding what i need - i'd have thought this sort of stuff was common?
Any ideas guys?
