over boost problems sometimes

engine cuts out for a few seconds if you boot it at about 3000 rpm i have changed the over boost switch already that seemed to sort it for a while now it plays up sometimes and not others

due to go to south of france in it soon so want it sorted for the nice twisty roads

if any body has any ideas that will be great some body has put a nut on the waste gate so not sure if this is any thing to do with it

no the nut in the wastegate is only to stiffen the spring manually and achieve more boost thorughout the rev range(but if there is not mapping for it will go lean).Possibly a MAF failure if there are cuts like that and a bunch of other things.Lots of similar threads about this problem,have a look in search

Boost leak or MAF. I would clean the MAF connector and see what happens, its usually this when mine does it. If not look for a boost leak.
