Engine mounts - threads?

Are there solutions to make the 034 motorsport 3B streetdensity engine mount work on the ABY? I still have a pair laying around, since the standard ABY engine mounts are too weak and I believe the 034 pro mounts are too hard.......

Could I make a ring with different holes to fit the engine mount holes and the ABY chassis holes?

Are you guys sure on the M12 nut? I've an old mount and it's an M10, FA also states an M10 too.

just to confirm, i have a pair of 034 street density mounts here and they are definately M10

Can anyone tell me the correct tightening torque of the mount to engine bracket bolt and mount to chassis bracket bolts?

The only solution is to drill new offset holes in the engine arms.

I wasn't comfortable with this in terms would it affect the strength of arm mounting hole.

I don't believe that the standard engine mounts aren't strong enough to be honest.

I think a new set with an uprated snub mount will be fine and this is the route I'm going.

what kind of money are we talking for new mounts gents? I believe i'll be needing new ones for the ABY i'm getting. Ciaran - you'll be just the chap to lend me a hand, having done your own (I know, I know i'm so good to you)

In the mean time I did the same. Fresh OEM ABY motor mounts with a hard snub mount.

Thats why 034 ones would be ace for the ABY, as even including shippoing from the US they are still cheaper than OEM one

Engine mount to chassis = 45NM
