G62 is located on the back of the cylinder head.
I don't know how to test it, but I'm sure someone else will.

          Help

          Hi

Today I´ve tested the wires to link to G62 valve and that is ok. But the fiche was broken and I don´t know here the wires link, anyone can give me a photo to show were the wires are on? Tomorrow I go to order the valve. Exists some way to test the valve?? It is that in the site that had said I do not perceive nothing.

From the link I gave above

With the single wire removed, the resistance should be tested between the sensor terminal and the cylinder head (engine ground). The resistance should be approximately 80 ohms with the coolant temp around 212F, (100C), approximately 130 ohms with the coolant temp at 176 degrees F (80C), approximately 1000 ohms at 68F (20C), and approximately 6000 ohms at -4F (-20C).

If it has 2 wires I think you must be looking at the wrong sensor.

Test procedure in german (numbers are international language):

                    Geber für Kühlmitteltemperatur (G62) prüfen
Einbauposition des Gebers für Kühlmitteltemperatur, siehe Seite
                    28-1.
? Motor abgekühlt auf Raumtemperatur (ca. 20 °C)
                    - Stecker am Geber für Kühlmitteltemperatur abziehen.
                    - Ohmmeter an Kontakt 1 und 2.des Gebers anschliessen.
                    - Sollwert: ca. 1.5 ... 3.0 k ?
                    - Wird der Sollwert nicht erreicht, Geber ersetzen.
                    - Wird der Sollwert erreicht, Leitungen vom Geber zum Motronic-
                    Steuergerät wie folgt prüfen:
                    - Prüfbox V.A.G 1598 mit Adapterkabel V.A.G 1598/5 am
                    Leitungsstrang zum Motronic-Steuergerät anschliessen, siehe
Reparaturgruppe 01. (Der Stecker am Steuergerät wird nicht
                    angeschlossen).
                    - Leitung von Buchse 45 zu Kontakt 2 des Steckers am Geber
für Kühlmitteltemperatur auf Durchgang prüfen, Sollwert max.
                    0.5 ? .
                    - Leitung von Buchse 30 zu Kontakt 1 des Steckers am Geber
für Kühlmitteltemperatur auf Durchgang prüfen, Sollwert max.
                    0.5 ? .
                    - Beide Leitungen zueinander auf Kurzschluss prüfen.
