I used silicon 3mm ID stuff, it goes from the inlet manifold to the ECU, dump valve and to the rear diff locking device under the rear seats and if you have AC it also operates the recirculating valve, teh OE stuff rots and perishes and can lead to lots of small leaks on important hoses like those to the ECU. A full boost leak test where the IM is pressurised will check these but you need 1 bar+ to really show weaknesses in the lines or joints. Made my car 100% reliable where it had been a bit intermittent before. Well worth the £12 on 4m of the stuff.
