Same problem here James, I had a longer set of leads fitted on the Avant to mmount the coils where the battery "should" be but oddly enough, the leads I have now are far too short (better than the various parts missing completely, but we won't go there).
Any ideas how you're going to mount them?
Cheers

Funny I had the same problem as well, way to short when I converted my 3B to multi coil.
I just just my old leads instead and put the 034 connectors on them.Comment

I had one of these coils fail after about 10K miles. No burnt pins or bad looms, just a bad coil. replaced with another and going fine now. im at 400-450bhp. URS4Comment

Today i welded a bracket to the strut brace where the battery used to be and i am going to make some coil leads up from a MSD 6cyl kit.
**** knows where they are ment to be mounted with such a short cable, maybe above the well for the cylinder they control?

Can you guys get us pictures of these 'too short' plug leads? I haven't had anyone over here complaining of it at all. Everyone here wants them shorter. I'd like to see how you're mounting them on the RHD cars.
The instructions with the coil kit shows how the kit is designed to be mounted with the leads provided. So if you're putting them in a different location you'll likely need to order the longer wire set option.----------------

I am trying to put mine 30mm from the fire wall and about 50mm from the strut turret.

Here is a picture of my setup:
I bought this kit from you guys, nice bit of kit but I guess I should have got something with longer leads.
Also it says on your page that one can swap over the 3b/7A valve cover to obtain a clean install. However the leads I got could not fit under the 3B plastic cover, perhaps I just got the wrong ones.

when i got mine i found that the plug leads were not long enough. I think the first ones that they sold had long plug leads but sometime after that they just made up a set to be a perfect fit for a US (left hand drive ) urs4, the problem with this is that on a uk car you cannot mount the coils on the left hand side as the brake master cylinder is in the way. You have to mount them on the other side on the strut brace and the leads are not long enough. I complained about this as i pointed out that in there advert for them the picture clearly shows much longer leads than the ones i got an also states- "high quality 8mm plug wire set with long leads ensures flexible mounting options."
Anyway they shipped me some more leads free of charge so i was very happy.
All i would say is that if you plan to fit them to a uk s2 or s4 that you tell them in advance how long you need the leads to be, they are very helpful at 034 .
As for the coils well they are fantastic the car is much better with them, i get more mpg and the car is so smooth now! Now i know that this is prob due to the fact that the old coils/pos were not great but when you consider the cost of new oem coils and power output stages and the fact that you will have coils that will go to much higher hp levels it makes lots of sense .
The only other thing is that if fitting to a UK s2 you will have to move/slightly modify the position of the ISV to get the coils to fit on the left hand side of the strut brace.Comment

So you do have to ask wish the website stated that I only heard of it because some poor soul already had this.Comment

I was under the impression that this was common knowledge and even 034 knew about it! Even when quattronics were selling these at the beginning they were supplying longer leads than the standard 034 ones.
Pretty poor show by 034 I'd say!!'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.Comment

Mine were a touch too short in places. Not worth complaining about, but they did limit the installation slightly. Other than that I am well happy with the coils so far.Can you guys get us pictures of these 'too short' plug leads? I haven't had anyone over here complaining of it at all.
