OEM Bosch Sport 110 DV - better then OEM S3 & S2 DV

Found this very interesting article about the Bosch Sport 110 DV.

Apperently MTM use these on their 500 BHP Turbo Kits.

Bosch part no.: 0280142110 it should be a porsche part.

Two very interesting links about the valve.

Anybody that have tried this DV instead of the S2 or S3 valve?

    I've moved on to a 710P, but haven't noticed a difference to the 710N.

What is supposed to be the difference? 710P is off an RS6... only taking 225bhp each as stock whereas the single S2 unit takes 300+ in most cases, hence IMO why it fails more often than on S3/S4/RS4/RS6.

I have broken two 0280142110 valves.
the membrane has broken in both, with about 2bars of boost.

More important than hp figures are pressure and location in the standard car. In stock cars it is more the heat from the turbo than the pressure that kill the membrane in tuned cars it is both.
ARP R1 seems to give the best compromise between bosch and forge, as it is built on basicly the same idea as the standard bosch part, but with a nomex membrane that is heatproof and takes more pressure punishment...

            APR R1 is £160!!! That's nearly 7 710Ns!

There are many uprated audis that killed their turbo(s) due to leaking bosch valves an, additionally you don't have to change it ever again
it is a bit more expensive than an forge dv but worth it IMHO. Got mine from US ebay for 145$ strong euro making it 105€ all incl. the Bosch one being 36€ the math are quite simple...

Don't know really, mine seems ok with 1.5-1.6 bar, but 2 bar is a different world ...

Yeah, $160 on ebay.com = £112. Guess with shipping & taxes there's not much to be saved with weak pound. Going to put my Forge back on after a check over and sell my GFB on as I wasnt the money for a Recaro.
