They are sending me a new one now. I could live with a small bit off centre but not over 1 milimeter. If it is off centre you are bound to have a tight and slack spot on the cambelt. It will be on the non drive side so I am not sure how critical it is? Even so its a bad bit of machining and I am not happy to run it. I will let you know how much better the next one they send is!
I have a big issue with mine, which I hope will be sorted with no issues from Rosten.
The centre is machined a milimeter off centre. Only noticed it because the cambelt was going slack then tight whilst going through a 720 degree rotation.
When you turn the engine over on the starter its a long way out! Has anybody else had the same problem?
I did have the same issue. Read in my project thread. Got a new center piece from Geir, no problem. He told there have been a bad batch from the factory. The new one is perfect.
