    Do these Siemens fit?

Hi, i was looking at these Siemens Deka injectors in ebay. Do you think they will fit the RS2 without any mods appart new software? Are they the same as on the VEMS.hu webpage?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SIEME...mZ290182011931

    Thanks

I personally wouldn't fit them as there are so many things that you need to check before installing different injectors to the factory spec.

    For example............

    1, Electrical resistance
    2, Fuel flow rate
3, Fuel spray pattern (eg, 2 or 4 hole)
    4, Fuel spray angle
    5, Size of injector
S2 Avant......fully loaded   Slipper Wagons Rule !!!!!

those look very much the same as my pencil seimmens 650cc ones.

they are the best around so i was told and im not doubting my supplier.

fit the standard rail fine, fit the standard inlet fine, fit the wagner fine.

      they work with vems great

      say no more.

          query

I believe the ABY used 4 hole injectors rather than the single jet of the 3B. Is there any benefit in fitting the ABY injectors into the 3B? From previous experience with the 7A the 4 hole injectors were far superior at providing better low/ mid range torque due to better atomisation.

Yes they have a better spray pattern, however you'd need a remap and a 7a 4 bar pressure regulator as the ABY flow more fuel than the 3B IIRC

the difference is negligable. get the best quality injectors you can afford and from my sources seimmens are up there at the top.

the issue with spray affects 5v engines more due to the fuel running doown the valve if not sprayed properly.

ive used bosch, Ford motorsport (bosch), RC and seimmens. all work fine.

I just installed the very same ones on my RS2.
With the stock RS2 injectors, I had to run 6 bar fuel pressure to get AFR into the 12's (Turbonetics E50 turbo). With the 630cc ones, I run a little more than 2 bar pressure when using gasoline. I bought the 630 injectors to run E85, I guess that I will end up at approx 3 bar fuel pressure with E85.
I have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and use an Innovate LC-1 wideband to dial in fuel pressure and air-fuel ratio.
