What to do with Immo and power - 3B to multi coil

Well on my way to convert my 3B to multi coil setup using an AAN ECU.

    To simple questions:

    1. If the AAN ECU has an immobilizer, how can that be removed or disabled? Can it be done via VAGCOM or do I need a new chip?

    2. I need to power the 5 coils, right now I only have one power wire going to the old single coil.
I was thinking of simple using this wire to power all 5 coils? or should I install 4 extra wires with power from the battery?

Think I have the rest covered

You don't say whether or not you are using an AAN engine bay harness or not. The AAN (and presumably ABY) harnesses have two 3 pin coil power connectors that end up on the firewall connector rack (the white connectors in the photo in this post about Power Output Stages):

Link to POS info with photo showing coil power connectors

Note that one coil power connector has 2 wires coming out and the other 3 wires. The white connectors both have 3. This power comes from switch power circuit (No. 30 for an AAN). So you would need to get your power from a switched (ignition on) source, NOT all the way from the battery. Note: the AAN has a circuit breaker between the No. 30 power source and the coils (and the ECU via pin 27).

I'm not using a AAN harness, and I'm not using the POS units since I'm running the 034motorsport high output coil setup.

However this does really not answer my question So I will try to write it again.
Can I use the +12V signal to my single coil and use this for all 5 coils used in the multi coil setup? Or do I for some odd readson need 5 individual +12v signals for the coils?

If you read my answer again, I did give you what you needed: The power to the AAN coils comes from a single switched power source which also powers the ECU via pin T27/55.

Therefore (the big mental leap), in theory, you should be able to use your single point 3B switched coil power source to feed the 034 coils. Create some kind of 1 into 5 splitter harness and you *should* be fine.

        Okay?

Why dont just write that in the first post then?

I actually asked about this, instead I get a couple of links and a very non definitive answer. This made me more confused actually

I gave you the extra links so you would understand how the AAN system works and why a single power point should be fine. You should have a look at an AAN wiring diagram, e.g. Bentley Audi 100/S4/A6/S6 manual page X51, to confirm what I suggested.

I strongly suggest that you include a circuit breaker or a fuse between the switched power and the 034 HO coils. In fact, one way to do the split would be run power to a power bar and then have it spilt to five fuses, each leading to one coil. That would ensure that a coil problem doesn't take your ignition system totally out. This has been done by a few people running OE AAN coils because of previous problems.
