Hi, I am going to purchase a vag com system probably from Ross tech. I had previously downloaded their free version but have never got it to work correctly. Has anyone got it to work or an alternative system. I want to use it on audis from rr tdi and rs4,s as the faults are piling up. Anyone in the Co Antrim area could demonstrate their system. brian
If you want to be able to work on all cars, you need a HEX+CAN lead. They are around £250 and will cater for every VAG car going (and a few others too).
UK stockists are Gendan and Ilexa, you'll find them via Google

And it's counterfeit. Don't get me in to this argument again. If you want VAG-COM, buy VAG-COM from the people who make it. If you wanted to buy an Audi TT, you wouldn't buy a Banham X5 would you? Cheap copy.
