    600+ fueling system.

im looking for a nice fuel system for my 600+ l5 .

im thinking about going like this:

    aermotive a1000 fuelpump
fuellab FPR (dont remember if i have an -6 or -8 , would an -6 work?)
nuke performance fuelrail with an -8 fittings
do i need an catchtank or can i just stick a pipe down in the original tank to the fuelpump and to the fuelrail?

    injectors suggestions for 600 hp?

One thing i've learned we are way behind the Scandinavians!

    Yes, You need a catchtank.

Siemens 3145, if You can use low impedance, siemens deka006, if You need to use high impedance.

6an line from pump to rail is a bit on a small side for 600hp. I'd use 8an for feed line, and 6an for return. OE return may restrict the aeromotive pump, unless You have pump controller.

If You don't have controller, make catchtank large, to avoid heating the fuel.

as far as i understand, -6an is size of the thread, but what is the internal diameter of -6an fuel line?

no no it will be 10-an hose to fuelrail. and the fpr after the fuelrail. if you put the fuel pressure regulator before the fuelrail you will get pressure peaks.

        does it work like this:

        pipe from tank -> catch tank -> to aeromotive pump -> 10an hose -> fuelrail with 8-an -> 6-an fpr -> 6an return pipe?

will use vems so low impedance would work great!

10 is unnecessarily big. 8 is more than enough. Even 6 would do, but only barely, that's why I'd use 8.

V8 guys need 10 size lines, as they have carbs, and no pressure.

Who said anything about the fpr before rail?

Donce, Sizes like AN 6, AN 8 or AN 10 are sizes of hose and/or connector, not thread.

i know some examples when people on 6mm of internal diameter fuel lines make 500-600hp. that would be around -4 an.

There are many ways of doing fueling, for sure.

To make it good, and to have cool fuel, stick with Your plan, and get the pump controller.

There is always someone who did things cheaper, and it worked better.

Those 600whp cars with OE lines even ran with E85, I bet?

A 044 and some bigger lines will make 600hp on gas, but not on E85.

Yes, true. Still, when hitting 600hp a single 044 requires injectors to 100% duty, no matter the size of them. In that case there is no room for e.g. EGT enrichement. Not good for safety point of view.

600hp can flow through OE feed line, true. Still, look at the statement above.

That is why I always make catchtank + twin 044 or A1000 setup, when exceeding 550hp.

i´ve read at some places that you should have the fpr after fuelrail so you dont get pressure peaks/hits.

-8 ok, but outlet of the pump is -10 so i will go for -10 line, cant get enough of fuel. but do i need a pump before the catchtank? or can i just do as i described previously? just a pump after the catch tank, or should i have it before the catch tank?

pump controller, what do you mean with this?

                            -10

I have 3 044's and -8 suply and -6 return, nuke rail, and a turbo smart -8 FPR. i hope this does the trick

Aeromotive provides separate controller for their large volume pumps. Controller limits pump revs at mild load, and allows full power from the pump only when it's needed. This to avoid boiling the fuel in reservoir (catchtank).

Discover Aeromotive’s superior fuel systems, where cutting-edge aerospace engineering meets automotive passion. Explore our range of high-performance fuel pumps, filters, and regulators, designed for reliability and efficiency at any speed, any angle, or any condition.

Injectors go to 100%, if pump's full flow is met.

Lindahl, You need to route original pump to catchtank, and have return from catchtank to fuel tank.

From catchtank You take fuel to the A1000, from there to rail and fpr. From fpr You return back to the catchtank.
