I just got my E85 setup together, and maintained 11.8-12.0 AFR to redline with stock lines, fuel pressure at 4.1 bar, 044 in tank and Siemens Deka 630cc injectors.
Netics E50 turbo. Should be in the neighbourhood of 400whp on the E85.
For comparison, tuned S6+ (326 stock) makes 250whp on the same testing equipment.
Probably winter mixture of E85 now, meaning E75, so that makes it easier to hit the 12.0 target AFR. Night and day difference with Ethanol vs 99 octane gasoline.

That setup looks really nice, I'm planning on going with the 3071 turbo on E85 and hope to push similar numbers, really nice to see that I don't have to mess about with the fuel system.

E85 is indeed a wonderful fuel..
I wonder though, are we (Scandinavia) the only ones to have it at our petrol stations?
I mean, I rarely see any others than Swedes and Norwegians that uses it when tuning on here.
Odd when it's so cheap and good for tuning.

          Not available here.

At least not yet. ST1 is coming in with e85 some time soon.

          Estonians do have it.
Everything less than 2 bar is considered to be naturally aspirated

            Really?
            ST1 about 10km from me has E85, like 0.8€/L.

Weird that you guys don't have it, ST1 is finish right?

E85 is so good that it boggles the mind.
That will be a great setup Adjustable FPR, 044 pump, 630cc injectors and an Innovate LC-1 wideband is all I needed. Custom remap is ideal, but I haven't bothered since I will have to run on 99 octane occasionally. I lower fuel pressure to 2 bar on gasoline. Ideal timing is similar on E85 and gasoline, however, achieving MBT at high boost is much easier on E85 due to sky high effective octane. I hadn't driven my own RS2 in about a month, having fiddled with some slower machinery like stock and chipped RS2, tuned S6+, remapped 1.8T, etc, so just getting back into my RS2 was a kick, but still, holy cow was that thing faster than ever now with E85 (E75) and proper AFR. Rev limiter in 2nd is sometimes dodgy, and it just pulled past 7.5k so hard and fast that it was shocking. I will test it with my MR Dyno on saturday and generate some power, torque and G graphs.

That sounds perfect, I will of course get a wideband lambda and gauge and get a remap at MMT here in Sweden, I've heard numbers like 5-6.000 SEK for a Motronic custom map with him

I think I'll map it for E85 only since it's a summer/weekend car, I think it will be a blast once its done, 104 octane E85 is very nice when cranking up the boost

Thanks for some inspiration (your RS2 must be mental!) and clarifications regarding the fuel systems capability on E85

Swedish government supports e85 with cheaper fuel taxation, and has pushded it for the country to meet the EU directive, which puts down numbers for biofuel percentage of all fuel sold.

In Finland, the taxation system sucks. Therefore the biofuel will be more expensive than regular fuel, just as it is in US.

Also, due to some research, E85 makes a lot of emissions, when engine is cold. Some other researchers think, that it would be more wise to grow food, rather that fuel on fields. Just like our fields would be overloaded for food production, here...

I bet some ragheads are paying politicians to keep this point of view.

So our policymakers stick to that, and refuse to support the sales or production. ST1 is purely using image marketing, price will most likely be around 1,7-1,9 eur / litre, unless a lightning strikes to Arcadia Hill...

True, cold start emissions on E85 are high, but once at operating temperature, CO2 emissions are approx. 1/5 of that of petrol.
E85 is getting popular in the US, prices are usually lower than petrol. Some places sell E85 at 0.45 Euro/litre at the moment (petrol at 0.6 Euro/litre). Variations from state to state, of course.
E85 is selling for 0.97 euro per litre in Norway (fixed price)

I hope you do get E85 and cheap, just the way it should be.

I guess there will always be some "climate friendly groups" waving the "climate-change-doom-is-here-all-will-die-unless-we-raise-the-taxes" flag, unfortunately politicians actually listens to them nowadays and take their words for truth without even giving it a second of doubt.
