What's the max power by RS2 turbo?

Hi all!

I would mount a full RS2 conversion (injectors, fpr, ecu, turbo, cam pulley, camshafts, etc) and mount a wagner EM, IC kit and reverse IM, ADU MRC high boost chips, and full 3"exhaust without cat.

What is the maximum power and torque that I can predict?

Can the RS2 mechanical resist this power and torque?

The max hp of the rs2 turbo is circa 380hp

if you do all that get at least a 3071R turbo

The RS2 turbo can make 400 bhp at 2.0 bar however it's turbo life will be drastically reduced.

Flowed cylinder head is often overlooked. That will boost whatever power you get, as will water injection.

400 crank not wheel power

flowing the cylinder head has the same effect as raising the boost on turbo life. the turbo has to work harder to make x boost.

pushing a turbo to the max has one advantage. high torque.

350-360 is about the right amount of power if the turbo life is to be ~unaffected, but several ppl run ~370-380 hp for a few years without any troubles, it has to do with many things, oil, condition of the turbo before turning up the boost / power etc.

A good flowing em, and a ported head should be able to get the rs2 turbo at about 400 crank hp, but I would go with a better turbo for that power level, seeing that the rs2 turbo doensn't want to hold boost / deliever power after 6000 rpm. 3071 after Rs2 turbo, after that GT35R or GT40R..

maybe 1,7 bar it´s the most safer boosting level


Mart2 mirate bien las compresiones de tus cilindros antes de darle mucha caña y sobre todo asegurate de que todo el sistema de inyeccion de gasolina va perfecto

you have to test the compression levels in all cylinders before go hard with the RS2 turbo,and test every fuel inyection parts

Well it was 360 on a standard chipset so should produce rather good figures on the high boost ones.
