what problem are you having with the car? it's very unlikely to be the ecu.

I can certainly check it if necessary, but as stated above - faults are more likely sensors or wiring on the car. It can be ECU failure but that is much less common...

I have a 034 chipset for the 3071r turbo which is no producing power they say the chipset should be good & they need to verify my ECU is functioning correctly.

When i replace the 034 chipset with my old chipset from my rs2 turbo 370hp, the differents is night & day the car performs well considering this chipset is not for this turbo.

I want the ECU checked so i can confirm to them that its working correctly may be a waste of time, but presently i have a chipset that cannot be used

Ask for a refund, if the car works correctly on your old chipset then how can the ecu not be performing correctly.

There is a growing trend for people to buy these chips, i'm personally not convinced by the results having seen the dyno plots.

Speak to Jade he used these chipsets and was not happy with the results.

There is a market for good generic upgrades on the 2871 and 3071 - not everyone has trusted places they can go for custom mapping... And versus the expense of going onto aftermarket ECU to do some homegrown mapping - or go to a local expert on that system.

This is why I've been spending time on the 2871 setup first to create an alternative to 034 chipsets - not that I am dissing their work as I have no first hand experience of it - just hoping to create a UK source of proven generic chipsets for such turbo installs. That work is by no means finished, but has progressed well. That should be available to ABY/AAN/RS2 users initially - NOT the 3B setup due its more weird and wonderful ways that give me a sore head for now.

I'll happily examine that ECU, but it sounds like it is fine if it runs well on other chips... I suggest what needs checked is that all of the mechanical things on the car, like fuel pressure, injector sizes, MAP sensor, mechanical WG pressure or camshafts are aligned to what the chipset is expecting.

Do you have a generic chipset for RS2'ed ABY/AAN? I know my car is 3B however it is converted to AAN ECU and direct fire. Could be fun to try it out and compare it to my custom map.

I do have something that will work on that setup Jonas - its a good safe generic RS2 upgrade - not maxxed out by any stretch. You might wanna wait until I've had more airtime on that... I'll need to go realtime on a couple of cars with AFR and such to be completely happy.

I don't mind waiting Car is in garage at the moment so in no hurry. But it would really nice to compare your generic map against my custom map.
