    RS2 EM/Turbo on S2

Worth it? What else would be required to get it to run?

Is there any point in the EM? Or are they the same between the two?

    Thanks!

You would need injectors, an intercooler, and MAP sensor in the ECU and a set of chips to match as well as the items you listed. And is it worth it? Hell yes!

Won't notice the performance on a K24 but your EGT's will be better and your engine would thank you!

      Also future proofing.

You can run on stock injectors to about 310 bhp

So to get to 350-400bhp, what would I need to do? RS2 Crossmember/IC, Injectors and a remap?

Full RS2 spec for that, IC & XM, EM, turbo, injectors, ECU upgrade with MRC chips, downpipe (you've got RS2 right?). Clutch is fine as RS2/ABY are the same but if it's old you might want to uprate it.

You might want to consider a new fuel pump as well if your car has covered a lot of miles on the original pump.

Got the downpipe coming soon, can persuade crossmember and intercooler, exhaust manifold and turbo are available, and the injectors shouldn't be too difficult, right? Anyone linky?

Fuel pump might be an idea, as I'm going to get all the lines replaced anyway...

Whats involved in getting the fuel lines replace? Mine are starting to corrode a bit underneath so could need replacing

a pump is needed over 400hp or so.

fitting the turbo and manifold stick with the stock s2 intercooler if its aby. injectors will make 320lbsft. depending where the hp is. expect them to run out of fuel around the 300 mark. id say saftey margin 290.
                      fit a better exhaust.
personally id say rs2 isn't worth it bang for buck. you can buy garrets and manifolds, injectors and pump and a map and see 400 without any issues.

i think under 350hp doesn't really light any fires in these heavy cars.

@Mike - consider the Wagner IC - its bigger than RS2 IC, but bolts onto S2 crossmember with a specially designed bracket. Works with S2 or RS2 bumper. The RS2 xmember is a silly price and I consider it to be an unnecessary purchase... You would be much better off spending that money on an RS2 MAF and RS2 airbox - they actually earn their keep.

Injectors are easily changed - bit fiddly and you get the odd really TAF one.

Let me know if interested in a chipset for RS2 spec - along with MAP upgrade.

GBP250 for zee chipset and ECU tinkering to include fitment of 3bar MAP and such.
Search for VMAP to find distributors of those - bout 150 dollars last time I checked - hilarious I know... Been trying to find a cheaper 3bar alternative but no dice so far.
