hi guys im looking at buying an audi s1
2.3 10v turbo 5 cylinder its running at about
180bhp just wonder the cheapest ways to
increase the power without spending a fortune
or it would be cheaper to just buy 1 thats had
work done to the engine thanks people :-)
Hi there it had a 20v in but the guy has fitted a 10v with a bigger turbo, i want to get about 250 bhp is it possible with the 10v or is it not the right engine to play, as i think 650 to 800 bhp i guess from the 20v , sorry all new to me, any ideas.

on how much money you wanna spend, the 10vt is more costly to tune, but vigen racing in norway made 502hp and 607Nm on a 10vt with stock internals
its an 85 group B rally conversion, just not sure about the engine been the right unit to work with , is it more reliable than the 20v, or just not as torquey, any major probs with the 10v . thanks
yes it is the one off ebay it is a shorty with a 2.3 10v turbo around 180bhp large turbo fitteg just need to know what else can do to engine to get it around 250bhp ilst not been overly expensive or if you can tell me what i could do and around price of which to do so would be very much appreciated thanks very much :-)
so is it a coupe quattro someone has shortened and fitted the wide body to
and then they fitted the 170bhp turbo non-intercooled 5 out of a 200 turbo
youd think went all hassle shortening a car and fitting wide body you would found a 3b or something and just give a re-map
or even a 7a would be more suitable than a 10v turbo in a shorty
