2111 always comes up if you test with the engine not running

yes , but if you do the old blink test , its supposed to be running from memory, and mine was.
new sensor fitted now and the problem is solved , must of just not gave a reading out as it passes 2200-2400 rpm slowely

Sorry to drag an old thread up but I've been having some very similar faults on my ABY.
Basically I get an ignition cut at no particular time, sometimes idling so the engine stalls or sometimes when driving normally or on full boost, the boost leak issue mentioned does sound like a good starting point as I can definately hear a boost leak occasionally on hard acceleration or as someone said earlier sounds a bit like a worn turbo although I don't see it as being that even if it has done some mileage.
Once I get my oil pressure switch fitted tomorrow I'm going to run it down the local garage for them to plug it in and see what faults come up. I see speed sensor is mentioned and I'm guessing (as I'm from a Vauxhall background) that is the crank sensor ? as on vauxhalls that too will show as a fault if the vehicle is not running.
My car has had the Mark H ? mod along with most other tips from this forum carried out as Dest owned it and those that know the car know it had a fair bit of time put into it.
I'll try and source a boost leak test kit as I was told they suffer from it, is there anything else I should maybe look for ? Its on the 034 coil on plug conversion which tbh has been more hassle than anything but I can't see that being connected with my issues. Where is the ABY ecu ?
Sorry for all the questions, I searched for a possible similar thread to my problems and came accross this, although its not the same engine code the faults described couldn't be any closer.Comment
