  • has anyone bought a manifold from this guy?

I've been browsing ebay.co.uk and ebay.de for a cheaper manifold as I really need one to replace my stock aan mani as it cracked, not to mention it being super weak in design.
I"ve seen a few "rs2" manifolds for sale. I"m thinking someone copied the mould and there are now duplicates. Any thouhts on quality?
    anyone runnig one?

Yeah I have bought the same one ...

    This one

A few issues I had with it which were easy fixed ..Holes were not properly drilled (mob pics)

The studs they had with the manifold for the WG were the wrong thread so replaced them

But apart from that all ok

    Fitted

    Cheers

    Steve

    Only a few issues

Note that the wg stud holes aren't at correct place. You need to enlarge the manifolds wg hole a bit to get it to line up with the wg.

Yeah taking the engine out was not good but have it sussed now I can get engine out in 2.5hr..New clutch and flywhel set up coming tomorrrow hopefully so looking forward to seeing as the spec is something I have never seen ..Kevlar plate which mates to flywheel through a rough surface flywheel and the friction between the two creates the face and hardens the kelvar pads like marble

I have to say, for the money it is decent.....
only problems is the machining on the bottom next to the flange to fit the nuts in there. mine was a little thin and in the process of cleaing up the bores a little bit, I went right through it. But that is because of my dumb *** not noticing how thin it already was there, but we arc welded it and she's been great. not all that many miles on her though...
