hi thought it would be a good idea to change the timing belt at the same time as the P/S belt, now it wont start?
dismantaled everything of the front and got the belt off with no problems, with the rs2 the timing marks dont line up (1 tooth out) so to be on the safe side i lined up the cam pully with the mark on the cam cover then with a screwdriver scored the flywheel.
took the belt off and put the new belt on, lined up everything and made shure the belt was tight on the opposite side of the tentioner. checked the marks all lined up then assembled everything back together
now it wont start but it seems to be fireing on 1 cylinder? why would it start and run fine before but sudenly stop running?
could the timing be slightly out? how can you adjust the timing? i dont see why it could be the hall sensor? maby im wrong?
please help!!
cheers adam
