    turbo pressure question

Hello, my motor runs up to between 13 and 15 psi on the gauge at full throttle, lowering as the revs increase, does anyone think that is ok, or is there more to come from it. It is a standard motor, but has been mapped in the past.
It now also has a full miltek wide exhaust on it, could that change its behaviour since it has not had any mapping to go with this.
    Thanks, bernie

Probably okay for a 3B but seems low for an ABY. What MAP sensor in the ECU? 2.0 bar (200 kPa), 2.5 bar or 3.0 bar?

Click here for some MAP sensor info

Then it would have a 250 kPa (2.5 Bar) MAP and should hit about 16 psi stock. Remapped should push towards 20 - 21 psi with the 2.5 bar MAP. As a result, you might have a boost leak somewhere if all you are getting is 15 psi max.

i'd better hunt out the pressure tester for the pipework then, cheers.
