    engine acting strange????

Am having a few probs with the car.
found out yesterday that the piping to the dv wasent connected and hose to maf-turbo had fallen off, so after fitting them back on (and making sure they dont come off again) the car sets out when coming on full boost????????
It´s also having problems on standstill but not sure this has anything to do with anything tho.
    What you guys think?
Have taken the batteri off for a few hours to reset the ecu, but will it be enough?

Just done some more testing, all pipes are ok, all vacum pipes are ok also.
I can Cheat it a little bit by controling the boost with the accelerator, but it keep coming when i just flor it?????
Also when coming in to a letf or right turn and pressing the clutch, the engine goes out some times, mystery getting bigger now

Today i was out again after trying to find the error, and it also does this under light load, say 0,2bar @ 2200rpm and again 2400rpm, can this be a MAF error or maybe the fuel pump / filter?

MAF sensor is the most critical device on the S2 engine... Just catching up with this post now. Good man !

                Maf

Think I might have a similar problem!

Having trouble ideling usually when the car is fairly warm - it keeps on wanting to stall. It's a fairly intermittent problem but definitely seems to becoming more frequent. So I'm thinking after reading this post and a few others that a MAF sensor would be a good place to start?

If that's a good idea can anyone recommend where to get a MAF sensor from? Also is it an easy enough job for an amateur?!

                Sorry for the thread hijack!
