Don't see any benefit actually and I think you might have problems - something tells me the tooth spacing on the ADU belt is different that ABY !

You should be able to - the ADU has one(IIRC) less tooth so it will spin the water pump faster and pump water quicker.

Tooth spacing is the same on ABY and ADU - FAIK

I think Mark Halligan is doing this - Sal might have already done this.

Ahhhhhhhhhh - I thought the spacing was different - not the tooth count.

Can Mark or Sal confirm this !

The spacing is the same, only the pulley is smaller on the ADU so it has less teeth (about 7 less IIRC)

There is something else about fitting this RS2 water pump to an S. Yes it'll fit, but after looking into this for some time, I'm beginning to wonder if there is a 'restrictor' that is put into the metal pipe feeding water to the heater matrix to reduce the flow of water into the matrix circuit??

            Reason I say this?

Well.... listed against a RS2 thermostat there is a and I quote 'molded piece' not knowing what teh hell that is supposed to be, I got one in to have a look. Its like a rubber grommet about the size of the water pipe coming out of the stat housing. It appears to be a push fit grommet as on the part that pushes into 'something' there are ribs to grip and keep it in place.

What on earth this 'molded piece' or 'grommet' part is for I do not know for sure, not until I strip my lump apart in the near future and see where this bit fits for future reference. I'll post a picture of it next, see if anyone can place it?

Here you go. The sealant underneath is like an instant gasket type stuff.

Can't help out on where it fits but did you spot the typo below it on ETKA?

83 tubes of sealant at £23.51 + VAT each That should be enough to block of the heater matrix.
