The THS rods are still in a honda civic turbo being tested, i think there at around 800hp at the monmet, hondas dont really make torque tho......

well i can hold out for better decent exchange rate as i'm just in teh planning stages at the moment, i've so far i'm collecting parts etc.
I'll probably get in touch with Aelred soon as i'm putting together some prices for my budget and was going to talk to him about balancing / honing work that i'll need doing too.
Scats look as if they will do the job, but if I can afford a higher quality rod then I will use it for peace of mind / futures

Loads of people have had good power and sucess with the rods, Aron used to in his stroker build. I really suppose it's how far you want to take it.
I like fit and forget parts

i really cant see any issues with scats on builds upto 600hp or so. they have been tried and tested by many.

end of the day this car http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GR1beIKED40 has run scats for a bit. so did the old 16vt he had IIRC 715whp

no. i cant say better. its all the same. all of them coming from same factory. the only difference is the balancing. the other differences are lies.
lot of big name tuners buying rods from me. 10-20 sets every month. they repackage them and selling 30% exspensive. i read threads and guys say those rods much better than mine. this is funny. people likes to buy name, not product.

Yes but as I said before the issue with the Scats was the balancing so are yours balanced?

                        .

H beam rods from named manufacturers will set you back £500+ or £1000+ for Cosworths...Arons' are darn good value for money.

If you end up buying cheap rods you will probably have to prep them a little before using them as i have had to with my Scats.
