    think thats everything

your 5 speed will be fine unless you really abuse it (like I did with my clutch) knight rider s4's keeping his, also has a lovely 3rd gear unlike the 6 speed as you have to change sooner, iirc higher top end as well (only by a couple of mph but all counts )

Cheers acidburn,so it best to stick to 5 speed gearbox.Considering the amount of work involve.

I think that's debatable... probably at this stage yes, you can always upgrade later if you destroy the 5-speed. 1st and 5th are the weak points with high-torque. I know Tom went through a few but then he was pushing 480hp at the time. I didn't have any issues with my 3B at 400hp but didn't have long enough to prove it... now I have an Avant so not an issue

As for the RS2 engine - I'd say yes, they are a very rare beast and in my mind worth £2k+ for what they are. You could start with an ABY engine and rebuild it to full RS2 spec for not alot more than some go for though! But it will never have that ADUxxxx stamp on it... depends what's important. If I had an RS2 only an ADU would do. If not, I wouldn't be that bothered and probably go the ABY upgrade option.

            Cheers
